Accessibility Statement

We at Nemaha Cards & Collectibles LLC are working to make our website, nemahacardsandcollectibles.com, accessible to people with disabilities. We're also working to make our store in Auburn accessible to everyone who wants to come in.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site lets visitors with disabilities browse with the same ease and enjoyment as anyone else. That's achieved partly through how the site is built and partly through assistive technologies like screen readers.

What we've done on this site

We're working toward the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. So far we have:

  • Set the language of the site

  • Defined a clear heading structure on every page

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Chosen color combinations intended to meet contrast requirements

  • Kept motion and animation to a minimum

  • Set a logical content order for screen readers and keyboard navigation

We're a new business and this site is new. We haven't had it independently audited, and we expect there are things we've missed. We'd rather tell you that than claim a level of compliance we haven't verified.

Accessibility at our store

Our building at 921 Central Ave includes a restroom built to ADA standards.

Entry is at ground level. The sales floor, the counter, and the play tables are all on one level with no steps between them. Parking is available on Central Ave in front of the store.

Our loft is reached by stairs, and it's the one part of the store you can't get to without them. Anything up there, we'll bring down to the main floor for you.

If there's something about getting into or around our store that would make your visit easier, tell us. We'd rather fix it than have you not come.
